Frequently asked questions
How much does a van and driver for an event cost?
A single A to B trip is $110, a half-day on standby is $180 for 4 hours, and a full day is $330 for 8 hours, on weekdays. Saturday, Sunday and public holiday events carry their own rates, quoted upfront on WhatsApp. The flat rate covers the van, driver, trolley, all loading and unloading, and parking up to $20 a day.
What does on standby actually mean?
The van and driver stay at or near your venue for the whole booked window. Restock runs, top-ups and collections happen on call; you never make a new booking mid-event.
Can I book a late-night teardown?
Standard runs go daily from 9am to 6pm. For evening teardowns or runs outside these hours, WhatsApp us and we will arrange it around your call times.
How much event gear can one booking move?
Up to 1,100kg per booking, inside a 2.65m by 1.70m by 1.45m cargo bay, roughly 6.6 cubic metres. Keep each item under 25kg so one person can carry it; heavier fittings are welcome if your crew helps load, or add manpower at $25 per hour. Vans are ambient, not refrigerated.
What if setup or teardown runs late?
Any block can run over from $55 per hour (half-day) or $60 per hour (full-day), settled on the spot and subject to your driver's remaining schedule.
My event runs several days. How does that work?
Book the same window across your event dates and the same driver covers the run of the show. Multi-day schedules are quoted as one booking on WhatsApp.
